Our hotel, inside the wall of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a picturesque town dating back to the Middle Ages, is strongly connected to the history of the town. Franconian hospitality at its best and already established for generations, the hotel offers traditional guest rooms and an event room for up to 80 people. Right opposite the hotel is the Roeder Tower which is located near the well-known Gerlach blacksmith’s shop in the old town centre. We are a Non-Smoking-Hotel.

The idyllic old guest-house with its former brewery "Zum Breiterle" was acquired in the early 18th century by the last Hege-Riders, also called the "Bereiter", previously were in charge of the so-called "Landhege" of the old Free Town of Rothenburg and had their residence at the "hege-Riders' House" in the hospital's courtyard. This is the historical background of our house's name "Zum Breiterle"
